A Ramachandran
Prof. A. Ramachandran, MD., Ph.D., D.Sc., MNAMS, FICP, FRCP (Lond)( Edin).,
is the Director of Diabetes Research Centre & M.V.Hospital
for Diabetes, Chennai and WHO Collaborating Centre for Diabetes.
He is a member of the several International Committees and Study Groups on Diabetes Mellitus of WHO and IDF. He is the Chairman of the Expert Committee formulating the National Diabetes Control Programme of India and Project Leader of “DRC – WDF Project” in India.
Prof. Ramachandran has more than 250 peer-reviewed research papers published in International and National Medical Journals and is the recipient of several international honours and awards.
