Simon Griffin
Simon Griffin leads the prevention research programme in the Medical Research Council
Epidemiology Unit in Cambridge and is a practising family doctor.
He qualified from the London Hospital Medical College and trained in
Clinical Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Southampton
and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine prior to his appointment
to the University of Cambridge. His research concerns primary prevention,
early detection through screening, and care for people with existing diabetes.
