Nita Forouhi

Picture of Nita Forouhi Dr Nita Gandhi Forouhi is an MRC Clinical Investigator Scientist and Honorary Public Health Physician in Cambridge, UK. She qualified from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, and trained in clinical medicine in Newcastle and Edinburgh. She was a Wellcome training fellow in clinical epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and she trained in Public Health in London and Cambridge. Her main research interests are ethnic differences in the risk for diabetes and cardiovascular disease, and the descriptive epidmiology as well as aetiology of diabetes including the contribution of diet and nutrition.
