Events
The MRC Epidemiology Unit organises and participates in a wide range of public and specialist events. These range from focused regional activities to involvement in national science festivals. An integral part of our work is to seek and incorporate the views of people and organisations beyond the scientific and clinical community. Encouraging public engagement and dialogue on the research that we do is an important part of this.
The events that we are involved in include:
- scientific conferences
- scientific seminars
- feedback meetings for study volunteers
- public engagement events at national science festivals and hospital open days
- talks for schools.
