Public Engagement
Encouraging public engagement with the research that we do is an important part of the MRC Epidemiology Unit's mission and that of the whole MRC. To this end we are involved in many public engagement events in Cambridge and the Eastern region. We are particularly active at the Cambridge Science Festival and the Addenbrooke's Open Day. At both of these events we get the public involved to see how they can improve their lifestyle and reduce the risk of obesity and type 2 diabetes.
