Biography

Stef graduated with a degree in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Essex in 2007 and started working at the Unit in January 2008 as a physical activity technician. In this role in the Physical Activity Technical team, Stef was involved in working with physical activity monitors and data pre-processing for the Unit's studies and collaborations.

In August 2009, Stef became a research assistant for physical activity working with both the physical activity technical team and field epidemiology team. In her new role she collects physical activity data and monitors the physical activity measuring equipment in the testing sites.
