Laptop Encryption
The MRC requires all MRC laptops to be full disk encrypted using an appropriate product if possible. At the MRC Epidemiology Unit all laptops are encrypted with a CCTM approved product.
Collaborators working with MRC data are asked to encrypt any laptops that might hold such data. If any identifiable or confidential data is shared, details on how this should be handled will be given in the collaborative agreement.
If you require any advice or guidance please contact your collaborator at the Unit. We can't recommend products but we can tell you what we and other partners use.
