Cambridge Diabetes Case-Control Study
This study was originally used to analyse the genetic factors that cause type 2 diabetes in collaboration with a number of other research groups. The study recruited 1,100 volunteers, half of which had type 2 diabetes and half that did not have diabetes. Data from the two groups are being compared to identify genes that may be involved in the cause and development of type 2 diabetes.
