Financing Your Studies
To carry out a three year PhD, you must obtain financial support to cover both the University and College fees and a maintenance stipend for the duration of your PhD. Details of these fees are available on the University's website.
UK National and UK Resident Applicants
Fully funded MRC studentships are available to successful applicants which include college and university fees and a stipend.
Other European Economic Area (EEA) Applicants
Partially funded MRC studentships are available to successful applicants which include college and university fees.
Non-EEA Applicants
Non-EEA applicants are not eligible for MRC funding. However we welcome such applicants and will support your efforts to locate external sources of funding.

Please note that obtaining external funding does not guarantee that you will be offered a PhD position here at the Unit.
