Lindsey is a PhD student in the Physical Activity and Public Health programme at CEDAR, supervised by Dr Jenna Panter and Dr David Ogilvie. Her work will focus on the use of objective measures to investigate the influence of the environment on physical activity and related health outcomes. She is particularly interested in the capture and analysis of spatial data through the application of geographic information system (GIS) technology.
Lindsey completed an MPhil in Epidemiology in 2016 as part of a 1+3 year studentship, submitting a thesis on weather conditions and active commuting. Prior to joining CEDAR, she worked as a GIS Analyst and has an MSc in Geoinformatics from the University of East Anglia and a BA in Geography from the University of Manchester.
