Senior Research Associate
Current work and interests
Eleanor is a Senior Research Associate with the Aetiology of Diabetes and Related Metabolic Disorders group. Her research focuses on using large-scale data sets including SNP array data and publicly available resources to identify genes of interest and to help understand the mechanisms underlying diabetes, obesity and related quantitative traits.
Background and experience
Following completion of her PhD in statistical Genetics at the University of Cambridge, Eleanor worked at the Wellcome Sanger Institute before joining the Unit in 2018.
