Current work and interests

Michelle was the Research Contracts Liaison Specialist within the MRC Epidemiology Unit, supporting departments in timely and efficient execution of research contracts.

Background and experience

Prior to starting her role as Research Contracts Liaison Specialist, Michelle was an Intervention Facilitator for the SWiM feasibility study. SWiM is an online, acceptance-based intervention to support people with overweight and obesity to maintain weight loss following completion of a behavioural weight management programme. Michelle provided telephone support to participants as a “SWiM Coach” throughout the programme.

After completing her MSc in Eating Disorders and Clinical Nutrition with University College London Michelle became an Associate Registered Nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition.  She works part-time for Everyone Health as a weight management nutritionist within a tier 3 programme for adults with overweight and obesity in Cambridgeshire.
