Research Assistant
Amy was a research assistant for the EPIC Norfolk study, based in the Norwich Community Hospital. Amy left the EPIC Norfolk study in summer 2017.
Amy studied Medical Biochemistry at the University of Leicester, graduating with a BSc (Hons) degree in July 2014. Alongside Biochemistry modules Amy’s studies also included cell metabolism, gene expression, physiology and cancer. In her final year she undertook a dissertation with a focus on epigenetics, an ongoing topic of interest.
In December 2014 Amy joined the EPIC-Norfolk field team at the Norwich Community Hospital as a Research Assistant for the Fourth Health Check. Following on from the Fourth Health Check Amy remained with EPIC-Norfolk as a Research Assistant for the upcoming Fifth Health Check.
