Current work and interests
Dave is a statistician within the MRC Epidemiology Unit with primary responsibility for statistical aspects of the National Diet and Nutrition Survey (NDNS) within the NIHR Cambridge BRC Dietary Assessment Platform (DAP). He also provides statistical support, training and consultancy to all researchers in the Epidemiology Unit.
Background and experience
He has worked on NDNS since 2016 (previously with MRC Human Nutrition Research/Elsie Widdowson Laboratory) implementing complex survey design analysis techniques to ensure appropriate use of the data to answer questions posed by Public Health England and the Food Standards Agency.
Dave has an MSc (distinction) in Statistics from University of Kent at Canterbury and has 11 years experience within the global pharmaceutical research environment providing statistical support and training to Pre-clinical, Phase I and Phase II projects.
