Work and interests
Eva was a PhD student in the SEEDD (social, environmental and economic determinants of diet) arm of CEDAR, supervised by Dr. Pablo Monsivais. She completed her PhD research, which was concerned with the retail food environment and its association with socioeconomic inequalities in diet, in September 2016. Eva was interested in food poverty, spatial patterns of health-related behaviours, and the determinants of dietary behaviours.
Sadly, Eva Maguire died in February 2021. We remember her kindness, generosity, humour and keen intellect. She will be deeply missed. www.cedar.iph.cam.ac.uk/dr-eva-maguire-1985-2021/
