Current work and interests

Jake joined the MRC Epidemiology Unit in February 2024 originally in a temporary capacity via the university Temporary Employment Service.

He returned to the UK in Autumn 2023 following 4.5 years in New Zealand when a post-university gap year got interrupted/extended by Covid-19. Whilst in New Zealand he gained experience working across billing, payments and automation for a large energy and utilities company before spending three years working in financial crime intelligence within the public sector.
