Current work and interests

Lukáš is a LIMS software developer for NIHR BRC-MRC BioRepository, the Nutritional Biomarker Laboratory and other Unit resources, providing technical support to research staff with laboratory information management system solutions.

He is also a software developer for the Intake24 dietary assessment tool.

Background and experience

Lukáš studied pharmacy and completed his PhD studies (pharmaceutical chemistry) in 2017 at Charles University in Prague. His research there was focused on development of novel drug candidates for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. Alongside his PhD studies, he worked as a Research & Development specialist at the Biomedical Research Centre (Hradec Kralove, CZE) and freelanced in software/web development projects.
