Current work and interests
Sarah is an Intervention Facilitator on the SWiM trial. Sarah’s research interests include dietary assessment methodology and diet and physical activity interventions in the prevention of non-communicable diseases.
Background and experience
Sarah is a Registered Dietitian and graduated with a PhD in Nutritional Epidemiology from Queen’s University Belfast in 2012. Her PhD investigated the influence of dietary patterns on breast cancer survival and quality of life in individuals living with early stage breast cancer. Since then Sarah has over 15 years of experience in the project management of diet and physical activity trials at Queen’s University Belfast conducted in various population groups;, including primary school age children, public sector employees, women with a history of gestational diabetes and adults at risk of cardiovascular disease.
