Physical Activity Epidemiology
Current work and interests
Tim is a PhD student and Cambridge Trust scholar supervised by Dr Soren Brage. His project will investigate how different physical activity patterns affect body composition, metabolic and musculoskeletal health.
Background and experience
Tim completed a degree in Medicine at Monash University before pursuing further studies in Sports Medicine and Bioscience Enterprise at the University of Queensland and the University of Cambridge, respectively. Prior to joining the MRC Epidemiology Unit, he worked as a junior doctor throughout Australia and spent time living in China as a Hamer scholar, in addition to various consulting roles for biotechnology start-ups.
