Campbell was a PhD Student supervised by Dr Kirsten Corder.
Campbell’s PhD research was funded by the NIHR School for Public Health Research and focused on reducing health inequalities and changing behaviour at the population level. In particular, he looked at identifying modifiable risk factors earlier in life to prevent or delay diseases later in life. He left the Unit in December 2022.
