Current work and interests
Claire worked for the EPIC-Norfolk study as Research Study Support Assistant at the Norwich clinic. It was an evolving role and current duties, among others, include making appointments, preparing participants’ documentation, initialising and downloading of research devices and their data, and meeting and greeting participants.
Claire is currently studying with the Open University for a BSc Honours open degree in health sciences, and hopes to graduate in the summer of 2017. Her interests within the health science field lie with cell biology, disease, genetics and nutrition.
Background and experience
In the past Claire has worked extensively with the older generation, in various settings, and as such has significant experience to offer the EPIC-Norfolk study. Her 14 years in the care industry has also afforded her two successful au pairing experiences in New York and Sweden which enabled Claire to take advantage of many travelling opportunities.
